Try a Discover Scuba Diving Experience

Never scuba dived before? No problem! A Discover Scuba Diving experience is designed specifically for beginners. Your instructor will introduce you to the equipment, teach you how to breathe underwater and explain the basic safety skills. After practising in shallow water, you’ll head underwater with your instructor to explore a beautiful Koh Tao dive site. You don’t need to be a certified diver to join a DSD.

Beginner Dive Sites in Koh Tao

Depending on weather and sea conditions, beginners may visit Japanese Gardens for shallow, colourful reefs; Twins for a popular beginner dive; Mango Bay for sheltered water and tropical fish; or Aow Leuk for shallow reefs and great marine life. Your instructor always chooses the site according to conditions and your experience level.

What Can You See Underwater?

Even on your first dive, you can encounter colourful reef fish, moray eels, anemonefish, stingrays, barracuda, turtles and many other tropical marine creatures. Every dive is different, so you never know what you’ll discover!
